TutorRadar is an independent analytics platform that provides market intelligence tools for online tutors on Preply. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Preply Inc. in any way.

Account data — when you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). You may also sign in via Google OAuth, in which case we receive your email and name from Google.

Profile data — your Preply profile URL, chosen subject, and any target niches or profile settings you configure within the app.

Payment data — if you subscribe to Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform. This is used to improve the product and is not sold to third parties.

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide and operate the TutorRadar service
• Locate and track your listing in our market dataset
• Generate AI-powered profile audits and reports
• Send transactional emails (password reset, subscription confirmations)
• Send weekly market report emails (Pro users only, opt-out available)
• Process payments and manage your subscription

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising.

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These include services for:

• Secure account authentication and data storage
• Payment processing — your card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never seen or stored by us
• Automated collection of publicly available marketplace listing data
• AI-powered report generation — your profile headline and anonymised market data may be sent to an AI provider to generate audit reports
• Transactional email delivery

All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

Our market dataset is built from publicly accessible tutor listing pages on Preply.com. This data includes listing prices, ratings, review counts, and profile headlines visible to any visitor of the Preply marketplace. We do not scrape private or login-protected data.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised market analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Stripe may retain payment records as required by applicable financial regulations.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional communications (weekly reports)
• Data portability (export of your data on request)
